Log 011. Yeah just stop it. Start doing, adapt to changes, execute the plain already!

The thing is, nobody care about your complain. Nobody care about your shit. Everybody has their own shit. So stop wasting more time by complaining about your shit. Do something about it!

That is what I’m still learning about until this second. It was the easiest thing to do if I face a problem. Complain about it. And then dwell if nothing’s change. My god! That is even more waste of time. It’s hard not to dwell on things that does not work. I was often imagined how things going on if that stuff is working on. My mind started to create this imaginary world where things run in different path where I want stuff to be.

That was fucked up.

And then I realized, nothing is gonna change. Either I accept it and start actually do about this, or I am gonna waste more time and energy not useless things.


Narrowing The Target Market

This is one of example of doing something about it, instead of complaining/blaming others. Waruga was doing pretty good for the situation 2 months ago. We target our market by doing marketing around business people who most of the time will need a good website. We were making really good sales with that after we evolved to 2.0 version, and the product is kicking multiple assess xD

But the sales started to decline in February, and we still don’t know why. We thought it was only temporary drop, but it still declining until last 2 week. I personally kindda blaming the SME for “not ready to deploy their online presence” or “not understanding how to build a good brand”, and so on. As I already realized for the moment, this is stupid, but at that time, I still believe I was already able to deliver good product with a pretty reasonable price.

I was not gonna reduce the price again, and I knew I cannot change the mindset of my potential client easily just by just doing social media post. Then I started narrowing down my client, which one is the less annoying, have good understanding about the importance of website, and eager to learn. Even if the client is mostly entrepreneur who actually should has this traits (Kind, want to learn, know IT is good for business, and so on), not all who are already in the business got these. And I can’t change/complain about that.

What I can do, is target potential clients who got all of these good traits. The big question is HOW. This is the fun part, where I excel the most, PATTERN RECOGNITION.

I realized that our top clients already has good understanding about the importance of good website. What we did know from history chat with them was they were already educated by others. Yeah, educated by other competitor, or other business practitioner who do online business. By already being educated, they just need to look for the best product and the best price, which is US (with confidence). That’s why we worked so well with them. We understand that we are in a win-win situation.

That is it. Targeting entrepreneur near these business practitioner, or we call it Influencers. Instead of do a shotgun marketing to all business owner, we start targeting the Followers of these Influencers or competitors who do the big educations with higher price/product. For your information, we just get 2 easy deals just from doing this strategy for a few days.

This is fucking something, isn’t it? xD

So stop complaining shit, and do something about it already, damn it!
